Work with us
Join the crew behind Australia’s mobile lung screening.
ILOXAUS takes ILO chest X-ray screening to worksites right across Australia — by road, and by air to remote and offshore jobs. Our lung screening jobs suit people who like practical work, real travel and a role that protects workers’ lungs.
Who we are
ILOXAUS is a mobile occupational lung screening service. We bring chest X-ray units to mining, quarrying, tunnelling, stonemasonry, construction, demolition, foundry and manufacturing sites — and every film we take is classified to the ILO international standard by a NIOSH-certified B Reader.
That means our crews work where the dust is: metro, regional and remote, often around shutdowns, night shifts and FIFO rosters. The work is hands-on and it matters, because early detection of silicosis and other dust diseases depends on screening actually reaching the people who need it.
We hire for attitude and safety sense first. If you have the tickets and the temperament, we’ll back you with the training.
The lung screening jobs we hire for
We’re always interested in hearing from good people in and around the following areas, even when nothing is advertised.
Radiographers and imaging staff
AHPRA-registered radiographers and medical imaging technologists who are comfortable working out of a mobile unit.
Mobile unit operators
Drivers and operators to mobilise, set up and run the unit on site, including long-distance and remote runs.
Coordinators and support
Bookings, scheduling, client liaison and reporting support — the people who keep site visits running to time.
Safety and compliance
WHS, radiation safety and quality roles that support our screening and reporting standards.
Something else?
If you think you can add something to a mobile screening operation, tell us what you do and we’ll take a look.
Why work with us
- Work that counts — screening that catches dust disease early, not paperwork for its own sake.
- Real variety — new sites and new crews, with travel by road and by air across Australia.
- Proper standards — ILO classification, NIOSH-certified B Reader reporting and equipment maintained to match.
- Small, capable teams — you are trusted to run your part of the job.
- Flexible arrangements — full-time, part-time and casual work around shutdown and roster windows.
