This policy explains how we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information, including health information, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

2. What we collect
Enquiries and downloads. When you request an information sheet or contact us, we collect your name, company, email address, phone number, site location and, where provided, the approximate number of workers to be screened.
Screening participants. To deliver a screening, we collect information supplied by your employer or the organisation that booked the screening, and by you on the day. This can include your name, date of birth, employer, work site, height and weight, and your chest X-ray images and the resulting classification report. Chest X-ray images and reports are health information, which is sensitive information under the Privacy Act.
Job applicants. Your name, contact details, qualifications, registration details, work history and anything else you choose to send us.
Website usage. Technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and how you arrived at our site, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 7).
3. How we collect it
We collect personal information directly from you where it is reasonable to do so, for example through our website forms, by email or phone, or in person during a screening. For screening participants, we also collect information from the employer, labour hire company or occupational health provider that booked the screening. We collect health information only with your consent or where otherwise permitted by law.
4. Why we collect, use and disclose it
- To respond to enquiries, send the information you request, prepare quotes and arrange site visits.
- To perform chest X-rays, have them classified to the ILO International Classification of Radiographs of Pneumoconioses, and report results to you and to the organisation that booked the screening as part of its health monitoring program.
- To meet our legal obligations, including radiation safety, health record-keeping and work health and safety requirements.
- To assess job applications.
- To operate, secure and improve our website and to measure and improve our advertising.
We do not sell personal information.
5. Who we disclose it to
- Radiologists, including NIOSH-certified B Readers, and reporting platforms we engage to read and classify chest X-rays.
- The employer or organisation that booked your screening, and the medical practitioner supervising its health monitoring program.
- Our radiographers, contractors and service providers who help us deliver our services, such as imaging, IT, cloud storage, email and booking systems.

Some of our service providers may store or process information outside Australia. Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled in a way that is consistent with the APPs.
6. How we hold and protect it
We hold personal information in secure electronic systems with access limited to people who need it. We take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Health records are retained for the periods required by law, and we destroy or de-identify information we no longer need.
